How much CO2 do you produce?

What is CO2?

  1. Carbon dioxide is an odorless, colorless, slightly acidic, non-flammable gas.
  2. It is soluble in water when the pressure is kept constant.
  3. It is in a gaseous form. It can solidify if subjected to temperatures below -79º C, and liquefy when dissolved in water.
  4. The substance decomposes when heating over 2000ºC, producing toxic fumes of carbon monoxide.

How do we help with our project?

Our project is based on knowing the amount of CO2 we produce and how much we can save from one month to the next. Thanks to this we can continue in one of the objectives posed by the SDG in which we try to meet the following goals:

+Info

  1. Guarantee the availability of water, its sustainable management and sanitation for all.
  2. Making cities more inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
  3. Guarantee sustainable consumption and production patterns.
  4. Take urgent measures to combat climate change and its effects.
  5. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources.
  6. Sustainably manage forests, fight desertification, halt and reverse land degradation, and halt biodiversity loss.

What objectives do we want to be met with the calculator?

Our goal is to raise awareness among individuals, schools, and companies to reduce CO2 emissions.

+Info

Thanks to CalculatedO2 they will become aware of the amount of CO2 they generate and, in turn, how much they save per month. Little by little they will be able to reduce the amount and observe monthly how much they have improved.

Meet the cow Letrán

The cow Letran is our official logo. This animal hasn´t been chosen randomly, but with a very good reason.

+Info

  1. The cow is the animal tha most CO2 produces in a year.
  2. Between all the cows, the produce a total od 2.5 billion tons of CO2.
