Innovation, Creativity and Global Leadership
At El Centro Inglés, an international school, British School and Cambridge International School, we firmly believe that entrepreneurship is an essential competence for 21st-century learners. For this reason, we have developed an Entrepreneurship Programme that promotes the holistic development of our students, strengthening key skills for their academic, personal, and professional futures.
As the only CIS Accredited School in the Bay of Cádiz, our approach is based on international standards that foster creativity, innovation, responsibility, leadership, and a global mindset. Our aim is to develop pupils who are capable of transforming ideas into action, making independent decisions, and tackling real challenges with critical thinking and an international perspective.
An entrepreneurial education for a global world
The Entrepreneurship Programme at El Centro Inglés:
- Develops entrepreneurial skills from an early age, integrating innovation, creativity, and responsibility as key pillars of learning
- Encourages independence and decision-making, training pupils in strategies that enhance initiative, organisation, and self-confidence
- Promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to analyse situations from multiple perspectives
- Connects with an international context, aligned with our International Curriculum and the Cambridge approach, both embedded from Early Years through to Sixth Form
Active methodologies for entrepreneurial learning
To inspire motivation and strengthen an entrepreneurial mindset, we implement dynamic and active methodologies:
- Innovation challenges and idea competitions, where pupils present real projects and learn to argue, plan, and defend their proposals
- Business simulation games, developing strategic thinking, leadership, and teamwork
- Collaborative projects, integrating technology, creativity, communication, and problem-solving
- Challenge-Based Learning, where each pupil faces real-life situations that require initiative and critical thinking
These methodologies, combined with technological resources such as iPads, interactive whiteboards, and advanced applications, enable the development of entrepreneurial skills in a modern, engaging environment fully aligned with global demands.
