At El Centro Inglés, a British international school accredited by CIS, we deliver an educational project that places each pupil’s personal and human development at the heart of learning. Our aim is to nurture well-rounded, responsible, and self-aware students with strong values, ethical principles, and respect for other cultures and their environment.
This approach is an essential part of our Pastoral Care Plan and is led by the Deputy Heads and the Pupils’ Director, who provide personalised attention, supporting each pupil in their academic, personal, and emotional development.
Personal and social development across all educational stages
The development of personal, social, and emotional competencies is progressively and coherently integrated throughout all educational stages:
PSED in Early Years

From the British Early Years stage, we promote self-awareness, positive relationships, emotional regulation, and social development, laying the foundations for personal wellbeing from an early age.
PSHE in Junior and Senior School
(Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education)
In Junior and Senior School, pupils continue to develop skills related to health, personal responsibility, decision-making, and preparation for adult life within an international educational environment.

- Peaceful, Social and Healthy Living Campaigns, focused on positive coexistence, respect, and healthy lifestyles
