Health care and support throughout the school day

At El Centro Inglés, we understand that providing a high-quality international education also means ensuring the physical and emotional wellbeing of our pupils. For this reason, we offer an on-site healthcare service, available to both pupils and staff throughout the school day, from 9:00 am to 4:50 pm.

This provision enables us to respond quickly and effectively to any health-related needs that may arise during the day, guaranteeing both peace of mind for families and the safety of our pupils.

A safe and transparent procedure

Our nursing service operates under a clearly defined protocol, which includes:

• Immediate attention in the event of illness or incidents during the school day
• Direct communication with families at the time of consultation, ensuring trust and transparency
• Detailed records of all actions taken, accessible under supervision to maintain full traceability of care

This system allows us to provide professional, well-organised care tailored to the individual needs of each pupil.

Administration of medication with parental consent

Our healthcare staff do not prescribe medication; however, they do administer it when:

• Prior authorisation has been given by the family
• The medication has been handed in to the school’s medical room at the start of the day

If a pupil requires a specific treatment, it will be administered strictly in accordance with the family’s instructions, ensuring maximum safety and full compliance with healthcare procedures.
