TOMORROW’S PEOPLE

As a British international school, a CIS Accredited School, and a Microsoft Showcase School, we implement innovative methodologies aligned with the highest international educational standards.

From an early age, we promote active and meaningful learning that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, preparing our pupils for an ever-changing world. Our educational approach develops independence, problem-solving skills, and a genuine desire to learn, while respecting each pupil’s pace and potential.

ECI STEAM Hub Classroom – Education for the People of Tomorrow

A space to create, explore, design, and communicate

At El Centro Inglés, we continue to move forward towards the education of the future with our new STEAM Hub Classroom, an innovative space where learning comes to life through science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and creativity.

We envision the world in 15 years as a digital, dynamic, and highly technological environment, where robotics, engineering, and innovation will be essential. Our STEAM curriculum prepares pupils to thrive in this context.

Facilities and spaces in the STEAM Hub Classroom

The ECI STEAM Hub Classroom is designed as a creative and technological laboratory, including:

  • A laser printer and laser cutter, for the design, prototyping, and creation of real projects
  • An audiovisual area for the ECI TV Committee, where pupils develop communication skills, digital creativity, recording, and content editing
  • Flexible spaces that promote collaborative work, experimentation, and problem-solving
Engineering Club: building the future

The Engineering Club is also developed within the STEAM Hub Classroom — a programme where pupils work on applied engineering projects, such as the design and construction of racing cars.

Through this club, pupils:

  • Apply engineering and physics knowledge in a practical way
  • Develop skills in design, planning, construction, and continuous improvement
  • Strengthen creativity, decision-making, and teamwork
