Our Upper Sixth Form pupil Alberto González Rodríguez has taken part from the 13th to the 15 of February in the 4th selection phase of the XV Europe Grants programme.

During this event held in the Francisco de Vitoria University campus in Madrid, and as part of the 200 pupils chosen from all around Spain from the 10.000 candidates who started the process, Alberto was able to share personal interviews, team work meetings and enjoyed conferences delivered by outstanding professional in the field of communication, economy and entrepreneurship such as Iñigo Urquía, Rami Aboukhair or Rodrigo García.

Furthermore, during this event, the 200 participants competed by teams in the BE talent contest. They did so by defending, throughout various elimination rounds, their innovation projects to fight against the “Emptied Spain” phenomenon, projects they had been working on the previous months. It is a pleasure for us to congratulate our pupil Alberto González as a member of the team that finally won the BE Talent contest, as decided by the criteria of a jury of prestigious professionals and from more than 25 projects presented. In this project, under the name of “Ruraleando” (Instagram @ruraleando.xyz), the team Alberto belongs to, develops an interface platform connecting local needs of communities in risk of depopulation and young volunteer services.

Europe Grants is an initiative solely promoted by Banco Santander and the Francisco de Vitoria University the aim of which is to promote talent, reward excellence and support the creation of leadership links amongst young students in Spain.
